FEES
My fee for individual therapy is $165 per 50-minute session.
At times, I have slots available for clients that need a lower fee, please ask if this is something you need.
Many of my clients also use health savings accounts (HSA or FSA) to cover the cost our work.
I do not bill insurance directly. I am considered a licensed 'out-of-network' provider, which means that you pay me directly and may be eligible for reimbursement for all or a percentage of my fees from your insurance provider. All reimbursement is between you and your insurance company. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand what reimbursement options may be available. I am happy to provide you a monthly superbill (itemized receipt of services) as requested.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
